申年の年賀状
意馬心猿 【 いばしんえん 】
“Wild crazy galloping horse and get angry crazy monkey” which mean both can not control one’s mind at all. It is very difficult to calm down one’s evil passion including sex desire too. That is uncontrollable disorder mind person.
「意馬」 means “Running horse”「心猿」 means “Noisy monkey”
心は、猿のように騒ぎ、思いは、馬のように走る回る。人間の煩悩、性欲、雑念の心の荒れや感情は、走り回る馬や騒ぎ立てる猿のように制御しがたい。煩悩や欲情の為に、心が混乱して落ち着かないこと。
